Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How can I tell if rotational molding will work for my product?
Answer:
Rotational molding will work for you if you are fabricating parts from sheet steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass or other similar materials. Instead of assembling a number of pieces to make one part, rotational molding makes one seamless part.

Question:
How long will it take for my mold to be designed and fabricated?
Answer:
Typically, we can design a mold in one week, and build a new mold in four weeks. Be aware, though, that the larger the size and more complex the shape, the longer it can take.

Question:
What happens if I need to make changes to my mold?
Answer:
We fabricate close to 250 molds a year from sheet aluminum ourselves and have an additional 50 built for us from cast aluminum. Depending on the change to the existing tools, we can make changes to tools in a matter of weeks.

Question:
Can you add metal inserts to my parts?
Answer: Our secondary operations can add metal inserts to your parts, among other things. We can add value
to many rotational molded parts.

Question:
What other products to you manufacture?
Answer: We have produced material handling products
and dock lockers for a number of years. We recently added a new product, the
SUV Cargo Caddy to organize and maximize storage in the rear cargo area of mid- and full-size SUVs.
